Widgets
Your timer and your garden on the Home Screen and Lock Screen.
Porotimer's widgets put the timer and your garden on the Home Screen and the Lock Screen. They count in trees and minutes, the same way the Focus Garden does.
- Free + ProWidgets. Small timer, Today and Lock Screen widgets are free. Pro adds the medium timer, This week, This month and Garden.
Adding a widget
Touch and hold an empty part of the Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for Porotimer. For the Lock Screen, touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, and add Porotimer from the widget list.
Home Screen widgets

On the free plan, the Pro widgets still show your own numbers — for example, how many trees you grew this week — with an Unlock button. Tapping it opens the upgrade screen in the app.
Lock Screen widgets
The focus timer also comes in the three Lock Screen shapes: circular, rectangular and inline.
Start and stop from a widget
On iOS 17 and later, the timer widget's Play button starts a focus session without opening the app. Stop opens Porotimer and asks whether to give up the session, the same as stopping it in the app — a widget never throws a session away on its own.
On iOS 16, widgets aren't interactive, so tapping one opens the app instead.
Keeping widgets current
The island and tree pictures in a widget are drawn by the app, so they update while Porotimer is running. If you haven't opened the app today, a widget can still show yesterday's island until you do.
